Radar level gauge

Very short microwave pulses with very low energy emitted by the radar level gauge are transmitted and received through the antenna system. Radar waves travel at the speed of light. The running time can be converted into a level signal by electronic components. A special time extension method can ensure stable and accurate measurement in a very short time.

    Application medium:

    The intelligent radar level gauge is suitable for non-contact continuous measurement of the level of liquid, slurry and granular materials. It is suitable for the occasions where the temperature and pressure change greatly; there are inert gases and volatilization.

    The microwave pulse measurement method is adopted, and it can work normally in the industrial frequency band. The beam energy is low, and it can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers or pipelines without harm to the human body and the environment.

    Installation Notes

    Recommended distance

    (1) Wall to the outer wall of the installation short pipe: 1/6 of the tank diameter from the tank wall, and the distance is 200mm.

    (2) Cannot be installed above the inlet

    (3) It cannot be installed in some locations. If installed, multiple false echoes will be generated, and interference echo will cause signal loss.

    (4) The diameter of the connecting pipe should be less than or equal to the length of the shielding pipe (100mm or 250mm).

    Precautions

    1: The measurement range starts from the point where the beam touches the tank low, but in special circumstances, if the tank bottom is concave or tapered, measurement cannot be performed when the level is lower than this point.

    2: If the medium has a low dielectric constant, the bottom of the tank is visible when it is at a low liquid level. At this time, in order to ensure the measurement accuracy, it is recommended to set the 0 point at the low height C.

    3: Theoretically, it is possible to measure the position up to the high end of the antenna, but considering the influence of corrosion and adhesion, the final value of the measurement range should be at least 100mm away from the high end of the antenna.

    4: For overfill protection, a safety distance can be defined to attach to the blind zone.

    5: The measurement range is related to the antenna.

    Radar level gauge installation requirements:
