       The measurement accuracy of the electromagnetic flowmeter is related to the measured flow rate and flow rate. In the case of low flow rate, the indication error of the electromagnetic flowmeter is relatively large. Therefore, when selecting the flowmeter caliber, choose a flowmeter with a smaller caliber than the process pipeline. Increasing the flow rate of the medium in the electromagnetic flowmeter measuring tube will help improve the accuracy of flow measurement.

       1. The sensor usually chooses the same caliber as the process pipe, which is convenient for installation, but the premise is that the flow velocity in the pipe should be between 0.1m/s and 12m/s.

       2. When the flow rate is low, the process flow is stable or considering the price, the sensor diameter can be selected to be smaller than the process pipe diameter.

       3. The installation of reducing pipes will cause pressure loss. The central cone angle α of the reducing pipe should be selected to be no greater than 150, the smaller the better.

       Choice of grounding ring

       If the PTFE lining is used, the grounding ring should be used as the protective ring (for flow meters below DN250, the meter itself has ).

       If the pipe connecting the meter (relative to the measured medium) is insulated, a grounding ring must be used.

       The material of the grounding ring should be compatible with the corrosiveness of the measured medium.

       Installation suggestions

       ·The measuring tube must be completely filled with medium at any time

       ·Process pipe length:

       Inlet straight pipe section 5 × DN length

       Outlet straight pipe section 3 × DN length

       ·Can not be installed in the high point of the pipeline and the downward direction of the fluid

       ·Can be installed horizontally or vertically upwards

       Do not install control valves and shut-off valves upstream of the sensor

       ·Cannot install the sensor on the suction side of the pump
